Job Summary:
As a Supply Chain Manager at Celeste, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting, to ensure the timely availability of products and the efficient delivery of goods to our retail locations. Your goal will be to enhance the supply chain's performance, minimize costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Procurement Management: Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely sourcing of products while optimizing costs.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stock outs, utilizing inventory management systems and best practices.
- Demand Forecasting: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to forecast demand accurately and plan inventory accordingly.
- Logistics and Distribution: Oversee transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to retail locations.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to ensure the products meet the company's standards and customer expectations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify areas for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement within the supply chain.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions in the supply chain, and develop contingency plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate supply chain performance to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including environmental and ethical considerations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience (3 - 5 years) in supply chain management roles, preferably in the retail industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in supply chain management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
