Job Role
- Execute Technical BOQ preparation process for engineering projects from BOQ preparation, PR raising and PO issuance to vendor to support timely project execution.
- Track and monitor budget utilization for contracted engineering projects and maintain relevant records/ trackers appropriately.
- Verify and process milestone payments in line with the project execution and issuing relevant acceptance certificates to vendors as per the contracts.
- Carry out Purchase Order (PO) related amendments for contracted Project POS to support project closure activities.
- Maintain proper records and carry out material reconciliations.
Requirements
- Candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/ Business Management from a recognized University or institute.
- Full or part Qualification in professional body such as CIMA/ACCA/PMP would be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial management and accounting in a reputed organization would be an added advantage.
- Competency/experience in Project Management methodologies.
- Proficiency on working with MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and knowledge in handling ERP system.
- Must be well versed in English and Sinhala in both written and verbal communication.
- Should be a good team player with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, a readiness to think creatively and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently with higher degree of self-initiative, proactive and self-driven to drive results.
